Thermal Imaging

Heat shows what eyes miss

Heat shows what eyes miss.

Thermal Imaging surveys buildings for moisture, insulation gaps and hidden losses with infrared cameras and confirmed follow-ups.

This site covers building thermal surveys across residential, strata and commercial properties.

How it works

  1. Describe the symptoms. Call or email with what you see, hear or smell, and when it appears.
  2. On-site investigation. Non-invasive methods narrow the search: acoustic, thermal, moisture, tracer gas or line tracing as needed.
  3. Confirm the source. Every clue is confirmed by a second method before it is reported.
  4. Written report. Findings, evidence, limitations and next steps, formatted for owners, managers and insurers.

Common questions

Is thermal imaging enough on its own?

No. Every anomaly is confirmed by a second method, because insulation, air paths and moisture can look alike in infrared.

Can you scan at night?

Roof and building scans are often best at night or early morning when temperature differences are stable.

Will you open my walls?

Only with authorization, and only when confirmation requires it. The point of thermal work is to narrow the target first.

Do you scan strata common property?

Yes, with arrangements made through the strata council or manager.
